It is yet another loan deal for 20-year-old England U-20 International Izzy Brown. Ever since arriving at Chelsea the player has moved around 3 clubs as a loanee and this time it’s newly promoted side Brighton and Hove Albion.

Brown made his debut back in May 2013 and by doing so, he became the second youngest player to play in the Premier League aged 16 years and 117 days. And shortly after that season ended Brown arrived at Chelsea from West Bromwich Albion amidst some major complexities between the two clubs. So much so that the compensation for the player had to be decided in a tribunal. But ever since his arrival that player has gone on loan to clubs like Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town.

But this in no way means that Chelsea have lost interest in the player. The club still thinks that he a great talent and Brown has returned that faith by signing a new 4-year contract with the Blues.

“The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the Premier League – and we are delighted he will be doing that with us, here at Brighton.” – Brighton manager Chris Hughton said to the club’s official website.
