Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku had to be stretchered off the pitch during the match against Southampton on Saturday.

Lukaku suffered a nasty collision of heads during the first few minutes of the game after which the Belgian was treated for almost 6 minutes on the pitch. At first, everyone was concerned about Lukaku’s head injury but later the medical staff confirmed that the injury was not as serious as it first looked and he did not have to go to the hospital.

After the match though, Jose Mourinho said that even though the injury was not serious but Lukaku’s head injury meant that he will be out for a while.

And after the match, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba put out a message on Instagram in support of the team and the injured Romelu Lukaku.

According to reports, Lukaku will be out for atleast a fortnight and this will be a cause of concern for Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese revealed after the draw versus Southampton that Zlatan Ibrahimovic too is sidelined for atleast a month.
