Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern Munich won their Bundesliga match against Bremen to stay at the top. It was a hard fought match and Bayern managed to hold on the win.

Bayern scored two goals in the first half of the match thanks to Arjen Robben and David Alaba. Robben opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the match thanks to a brilliant counter attack by Ribery. Bayern then doubled their lead in the added time of the first half courtesy of a superb free kick from David Alaba. The free kick was a neatly executed one as Muller blocked the Bremen’s keeper’s  view and Alaba took advantage of that.

Bremen did manage to pull one back very early into the second half with the help of Max Kruse. But the goal did not have anything effect on the final score as Bayern went on to win the match 2-1. Looked as if Gnabry had left his goal scoring boots in the locker. And it ultimately cost Bremen the match.

The was Bayern’s seventh win on the trot. And it was also very important as second place Leipzig have also won their match. This win keeps Munich 3 points clear at the top of the table as they next host Schalke 04 at home.
