Arsenal face a tricky tie ahead on Sunday, as they visit Stamford Bridge. Both Arsenal and Chelsea enjoyed a successful midweek European outing, beating FC Koln and Qarabag FC respectively.
Arsenal seemed to have steadied ship of late and will be looking to continue to stabilize their season against the reigning champions.
Wenger will hopefully have a full-strength squad to choose from and will not take any chances hoping to have learnt his lesson against Liverpool.
Here’s the Chelsea vs Arsenal line up prediction:
Arsenal’s number 1 will return to their goal in this crunch clash against Chelsea. David Ospina will be the secondary keeper and will feature less prominently in the Premier League.
Monreal – Koscielny – Mustafi
The back three could consist of Monreal, Koscielny and Mustafi. Surely, Holding will not be in the mix of things and Mertesacker is being eased into the squad and hence they won’t be expected to feature.
Kolasinac – Bellerin
Sead Kolasinac’s instant impact against FC Koln might earn him a starting spot at his preferred position and RWB will see Bellerin hoping to continue with the fine form he showed against the Bundesliga outfit.
Xhaka – Ramsey
Arsene Wenger’s persistence to stick with misfiring Granit Xhaka would mean the Swiss International partners with Aaron Ramsey in central midfield.
Sanchez – Lacazette – Ozil
Arsene Wenger will be out to make a statement and will do so by starting his strongest attack. Sanchez’s goal against Koln came as a warning to all those who felt his allegiances lied elsewhere. Lacazette will look to profit from the expertise of Ozil and Sanchez, playing alongside him.
