Barcelona are having a really tough time in trying to land Philippe Coutinho and if the latest reports are to be believed then French club Paris Saint-Germain have also shown a keen interest in the Brazilian. If the transfer gossip is true then PSG have already convinced Neymar to join them and now it looks as if they are using their latest signing in order to try and persuade Coutinho to sign for them.

And Barcelona clearly feel that they have been pushed against the wall here. Firstly Liverpool have been trying very hard not to part ways with Coutinho and now with PSG jumping into the race, it makes the work extra difficult for the Catalan giants.

So it looks as if Barcelona will shift their focus to Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil if the Coutinho deal was to collapse. As per the report, Barcelona feel that they can land Mesut Ozil for a fee of around £53 million. And given the fact that Ozil is in his final year of his contract, Wenger might readily accept the fee rather than lose such a talented player for free next season.

But Barcelona’s primary focus is still Philippe Coutinho and the Spanish club is trying real hard to convince Liverpool to part ways with the player. But we feel that Jurgen Klopp is not willing to let go of Coutinho until he can nail the Naby Keita deal.
