Former Manchester United and current QPR midfielder Sean Goss has joined Scottish side Rangers FC on loan for the remainder of the season.

Goss joined Manchester United back in 2012 from Exeter City but the 22-year-old failed to break into the first team setup at Old Trafford – his only outing coming as an unused substitute in November 2015 against Watford.

Sean Goss never made a senior appearance for United and ultimately joined Championship side QPR in January of 2017 on a three-and-a-half-year contract for £500,000. But his journey at the London club has not been great either – having made just 6 appearances for QPR.

After joining QPR, Sean Goss said, “Rangers is a massive football club with a massive fanbase as well, and being out there seeing the stadium was unbelievable. So for me, it was a no-brainer and I couldn’t wait to get here.

“I know it is a tough league and there is a lot expected of the Rangers players. That is why I’m here. I want to challenge myself at a big club and I can’t wait to get going.”

Sean Goss is expected to join his new teammates as Rangers FC head out to the United States to participate in the Florida Cup.
