Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is a potential transfer target for West Ham United and could be on his way out of Merseyside by the end of this month – according to reports.

Grujic signed for Liverpool in January 2016 from Red Star Belgrade in a £5.1 million deal but he eventually moved to the club in July of that year – after spending the remainder of the season on loan at Red Star.

But since moving to Liverpool the midfielder has failed to break into the first team setup under Jurgen Klopp – managing to play just 13 games during the two seasons that he has been at the club.

Now according to ESPN, West Ham United along with Huddersfield Town are interested in signing up the midfielder.

While Huddersfield are interested in a loan deal Grujic, it is understood that West Ham want a permanent move for Marko Grujic.

The deal could be completed within this week and Huddersfield Town might just be the favourites to sign the player owing to the factor that David Wanger is a good friend of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
