Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing up Brazilian midfielder Arthur from Gremio – as the Daily Mail.

La Liga side Barcelona were very interested in signing up Arthur during the summer transfer window and it seemed that a deal was completed when the 21-year-old was pictured wearing a Barcelona jersey.

But Gremio quickly jumped in and clarified that no deal had been struck with Barcelona and also accused the Spanish side of tapping up their midfielder.

After this incident, Gremio are said to be furious with Barcelona and do not intend to do business with them. Gremio would be more than happy to sell Arthur to a top rated Premier League club rather than Barcelona.

Arthur’s current buy-out clause is estimated to be £45 million which the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea will happily pay.
