Arsenal Football Club have reportedly found a new manager in order to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of the season.
The Gooners have been wanting the Frenchman to step down for a couple of seasons and it seems that the shift is finally happening.
According to reports in an Italian publication, former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to join Arsenal at the end of the summer once Wenger steps down from his position.
The report claims that Ancelotti has agreed on a four year deal at the Emirates in which he is expected to earn around £35 million over the course of his contract.
Ancelotti has been without a job since Bayern Munich decided to part ways with the manager earlier this season and the Italian was at once rumoured to take up jobs at either Chelsea or Milan.
But he has gone on to state that he will not take any rash decision and is willing to wait until the end of the season in order to select a club. As soon as this statement was made multiple reports went on to claim that Ancelotti was after Wenger’s position at Arsenal. And now it seems that the switch is finally going to happen.
The report though also suggests that the Gunners management has not yet taken any final decision and will give Wenger time to review his position once the season wraps up.
