Liverpool host league leaders Manchester City at Anfield this Sunday and Jurgen Klopp will name his first team since Philippe Coutinho moved to Barcelona a couple of days back.

Klopp will be hoping that Sunday clash is not a repeat of the reverse fixture where the Reds were thrashed by Manchester City by a scoreline of 5-0.

LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS:

The biggest boost for Liverpool is the fact that Roberto Firmino has returned to training and will most definitely start as the central striker against Manchester City.

Virgil Van Dijk will make his Premier League debut and he will play in central defence alongside Joel Matip. The absence of Philippe Coutinho means the onus is now on the trio of Sadio Mane, Firmino and Mo Salah to bring home all three points for Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp will go ahead with three midfielders meaning that Wijnaldum, Emre Can and James Milner all get starts.

LIVERPOOL’S PREDICTED LINE-UP:

Goalkeeper: Mignolet

Defence: Robertson, Van Dijk, Matip, Arnold

Midfield: Can, Wijnaldum, Milner

Attack: Mane, Firmino, Salah
