Alexis Sanchez is on his way to Manchester United.
It seems that Jose Mourinho has trumped Pep Guardiola and signed the Chilean International but the United fans somehow were unable to hold onto the excitement.
Manchester United’s official Twitter handle put out a tweet before they take on Stoke City on Monday.
The tweet read:Â “Think you can predict #MUFC’s first goalscorer and final score v Stoke? Make your predictions for a chance to win a signed prize.”
But the United fans jumped onto the tweet and started celebrating Sanchez’s signing even before it was announced.
One person went a bit overboard by taking an image of Alexis Sachez and photoshopping it onto a United jersey.
And as luck would have it the image quickly went viral.
Reports claim that Sanchez has agreed to join Manchester United for a deal that will pay him £350,000-a-week and the move could be completed within the next 48 hours.
