Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is considering a move out of the club as early as January after he has fallen down the pecking order – as per reports.

Mignolet has been warming the benches for the past couple of games as Jurgen Klopp has opted for Loris Karius infront of goal. The German manager has also stated that the position is Karius’ to keep if he can perform. This means that the Merseyside outfit are planning to sell Mignolet and it seems that they have already found a replacement.

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak.

Klopp is plugging one hole at a time in his starting line-up. At the start of 2018, the Reds signed Virgil Van Dijk thus solving their defensive frailties to an extent. And it is being said that next the manager wants to bring in a new No 1.

Oblak’s current release clause at Atletico is a staggering £90 million which is the only reason why Liverpool are hesitating to go all out. The Reds have shortlisted a number of top European keepers but it seems that Oblak tops that list.

Mignolet though could very well be on his way to Italy as Napoli are interested in signing the keeper. Napoli want to replace their current goalkeeper Pepe Reina with the Simon Mignolet – according to Sky Italia.
