Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder is in Manchester to complete a shock move?

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra is a transfer target for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho – according to reports.

The Frenchman joined Chelsea in 2005 and was tipped to be the next Claude Makelele but failed to live up to the expectations. And now the midfielder is being tipped to join the Red Devils.

After failing at Chelsea, Diarra joined Arsenal after two seasons but spent just five months at the club  – leaving in the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old was recently released by UAE club Al Jazira, making him a free agent.

And now Le Parisien are reporting that the Frenchman is in Manchester and could secure a move to the Old Trafford outfit in the month of January.
