It seems like Arsenal’s pursuit of Aubameyang is moving at a very rapid pace.

It was just a couple of hours back that Dortmund’s director of sport claimed that the Gunners are yet to make an official approach for the Gabon International after multiple reports claimed the north London side were close to agreeing on a deal for Aubameyang.

But now the Bundesliga side have confirmed that Arsenal have made an official bid for the player.

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke told Ruhr Nachrichten: “I can confirm Arsenal have made a request, the figure has been named in England and we won’t comment.”

According to German outlet Kicker who are highly reliable when it comes to transfers in Germany have claimed that the Gunners’ first official bid for Aubameyang stands somewhere in the region of €50 million.

But before the media to analyze and dissect into the information the Daily Mail are reporting that Dortmund have swiftly rejected the bid which was tabled by Arsenal.

The Bundesliga outfit have maintained they want atleast €60-70 million for Aubameyang and Arsenal’s first bid was way less than their demands.
