Manchester United have completed the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and the official announcement is expected to be made soon – as per reports.

The move was finalised eventually after Henrikh Mkhitaryan – who is set to join Arsenal, has agreed his personal terms with the North London outfit.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho also hinted that his team could announce the transfer any time now.

Speaking after the win against Burnley at Turf Moor, Mourinho said: “Expect soon or never,

“So close, so close, so close, if it doesn’t happen it is not going to happen. I know my people doing absolutely everything they can. I think they will be successful.”

Alexis Sanchez will be putting pen on paper to a £450,000-a-week deal at Old Trafford as he stands to earn wages worth £350,000-a-week plus an extra £100,000 a week for image rights over the course of a four-and-a-half-year contract.

The 29-year-old is expected to be at Carrington on Saturday and has already started his journey to Manchester from London. United’s medical staff were with the team to Burnley but are due to meet up with the 29-year-old new signing after the game.
