Manchester United have completed the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

The Chilean International is undoubtedly a special signing for United – more so because the Red Devils swooped the player from right under Manchester City’s nose. While every United fan is enthusiastic about the former Barcelona man coming to Old Trafford there are a few section of fans who have really hit a new low – may be in overexcitement.

Manchester United’s official Twitter handle put out a tweet today remembering their legendary manager Sir Matt Burby who passed away 24 years ago on this very day.

While most of the fans were showing respect to the legendary man by commenting on the tweet there were fans who weirdly enough found this tweet the apt place to urge Manchester United to announce the signing of Alexis Sanchez.

A number of fans commented on the tweet pleading United to make Sanchez’s transfer official and paying respect to Sir Matt at the same time.

But particularly there was one fan who went way overboard with it:

A ‘so-called’ United fan commented on the Tweet: “@ManUtd We don’t want to know the anniversary of someone who passed away. Just announce @Alexis_Sanchez already.

It was just today that former Gunners and United striker Robin Van Persie told Sanchez that Manchester United have the best fans.

Certainly doesn’t look like they do.
