Manchester United have completed the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

And the high-profile transfer has grabbed a lot of eyeballs. Alexis Sanchez was scheduled to move to Manchester City but ultimately the Chilean decided to sign for rivals United. The move meant that both Arsenal and Alexis Sanchez received more money prompting many to say that the 29-year-old had chosen money over football.

But atleast one Arsenal fan does not think so and came out to defend Sanchez and his move to United claiming it was not all about the money.

Arsenal Fan TV’s Robbie was interviewing a fellow Gooner after their team’s 4-1 drubbing of Crystal Palace.

That is when one fan decided to defend Sanchez by saying that Manchester United are the biggest team in England and they have been spending big over the past couple of seasons.

He added that Sanchez moved to the biggest club in England so it can never be said that he went there just for the money.

The fan also added the example of Robin Van Persie who moved to United under similar circumstances and everyone claimed that he shifted loyalties for cash. But one season later he helped the Red Devils win the league.
