Leicester City winger was spotted leaving the Emirates after Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The Foxes have maintained that Riyad Mahrez will not be sold during the January transfer window but his unexpected appearance at the Emirates has raised a lot of questions.

Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the Algerian International and has tried to sign him a couple of times in the past. But now it seems that the French manager has finally got his man.

Chelsea though have also shown interest in the winger and are expected to launch a bid for him by the end of this week.

But Riyad Mahrez’s appearance at the Emirates has made the Arsenal fans believe that the winger is close to signing for the Gunners.

Mahrez was also accompanied to the game by his teammate Islam Slimani, who has also been linked with a move out of Leicester this month.
