Borussia Dortmund have agreed on a deal to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal during the January transfer window.

The Gunners had placed their first bid to sign the Gabon International earlier this month but the Bundesliga outfit rejected the offer as it fell short of their asking price. But now according to an exclusive report from the Telegraph, Aubameyang is set to join Arsenal.

The report suggests that Borussia Dortmund have accepted a bid of £55.4 million for Aubameyang.

Aubameyang will put pen on paper to a deal that will run until 2021 and he is set to receive £180,000-a-week.

The Gabon International will reunite with his former Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan who joined Arsenal last week from Manchester United as part of swap deal with Alexis Sanchez.

Dortmund are currently searching for a replacement for Aubameynag and reports claim that they are looking at Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
