Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have agreed on a transfer for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – according to reports.

Arsenal are set to pay 55.4 million for the Gabon International making him the highest paid player in the club’s history. The report suggests that Aubameyang has accepted on a three-and-a-half-year deal with Arsenal and is set to receive £180,000-a-week in the form of wages.

One of the biggest hurdles to the completion of the deal is that fact that Dortmund need to find a replacement to Aubameyang.

According to  Bild, the Bundesliga outfit are planning to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.

Batshuayi has failed to impress Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and he is scheduled to move out of Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.

And now with BVB wanting a striker, it looks like a match made in heaven.

Like Chelsea, Dortmund too do not want a permanent deal and are only planning to sign up Batshuayi on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Dortmund are also keeping an eye on Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud who is a transfer target for Chelsea. keeping an eye that the French International is not too keen to leave London and would prefer to join the Blues rather than move to Germany.
