Chelsea are planning to make a bid for Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling incase they are unable to prevent Eden Hazard from joining Real Madrid during the summer.

Multiple reports have claimed that the Belgian playmaker ranks high on Florentino Perez’s shopping list during the summer transfer window and Hazard too is keen to move out of Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea management though are not sitting with folded hands and they might very well have set the ball rolling in order to bring in a proper replacement for the forward.

According to the Don Balon, the Blues are planning to make a move for English International Raheem Sterling.

Sterling has been in tremendous form this season scoring 19 goals across 34 appearances in all competitions but his current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2020.

The Stamford Bridge outfit are desperate to hold onto Hazard but will demand a transfer fee in excess of £100 million if the forward does decide to head to Spain.

Chelsea feel that bagging a huge transfer fee from Hazard’s transfer will help boost their chances of launching a bid for Raheem Sterling over the summer.
