Marco Asensio had told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he wants to move out of the Bernabeu during the summer transfer window – as per reports.

The 22-year-old is believed to have a fallout with Zinedine Zidane as the French manager has deprived him of game time this season. Asensio featured heavily in Zidane’s plans last season but this time around the manager seems to have lost faith in the Spanish International.

Asensio has played just 18 games this season in the La Liga out of which 13 have been substitute appearances.

According to a report in the Don Balon, Asensio is looking for a way out of Spain and is more than likely to land in England next summer.

The 22-year-old has grown frustrated with life under Zinedine Zidane and feels that a transfer is the only way to sort out his career.

Chelsea have been mentioned as a possible destination in the report as the Blues are planning to get Marco Asensio in return for Eden Hazard who is inclined to join Real Madrid over the summer.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho also has eyes on the attacking midfielder and the Portuguese wants to bring the player to Old Trafford.

Liverpool lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona during the January transfer window and Jurgen Klopp has not signed any direct replacement to the Brazilian. The Merseyside outfit have been previously linked with Marco Asensio and it will be interesting to see if they go after him in the summer – especially with money to spare from the Coutinho transfer.
