Chelsea will try and sign Barcelona striker Luis Suarez if Antonio Conte moves out of the manager’s chair – according to a famous Spanish pundit.

Chelsea suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Watford on Monday night as Conte’s men had to gulp down 4 goals with a pinch of salt. After the match, multiple reports claimed that Conte would be sacked from his position with immediate effect. BBC’s Simon Stone has now clarified that the Italian’s sacking is not inevitable at all and the Blues are currently trying to calm the situation.

With a tough couple of weeks coming up Chelsea are set to face the likes of Man City, Man United and Barcelona all within a span of a fortnight. And if the Blues fail to perform then Cone will surely be shown the door.

If and when the Chelsea boss is sacked, Luis Enrique is likely to take over his role at Stamford Bridge. Earlier reports had claimed that the former Barcelona manager was already in London to work out a deal – but those rumours have been promptly rubbished.

Journalist Eduardo Inda now has boldly claimed(as reported by Calciomercato) that if Luis Enrique was to be appointed as the Chelsea manager one of the first things he will do is bring back Luis Suarez to the English Premier League.

No further detail is available in this regard but we assume that Inda is claiming this on the two major factors.

Luis Enrique has a good working relationship with the striker as the former has managed Suarez at Barcelona. And secondly Chelsea have only one permanent striker in the form of Alvaro Morata and the Blues have been desperate to add a second top class striker to the ranks(yes they have signed Giroud from Arsenal but he clearly is a short-term solution).
