Arsenal are set to welcome back three injured first-team players before they head to Wembley to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Gunners are currently sixth on the league table – 4 points behind their Saturday rivals and five points adrift of that elusive top four spot. Wenger will most definitely be the more confident of the two managers as his team go into this game at the back of a 5-1 thumping of Everton. And on top of that, the French manager has received some good news from his medical staff.

According to a report on The Evening Standard, both Danny Welbeck and Petr Cech are expected to be available for the London Derby on Saturday.

Welbeck hasn’t played since picking up a hip injury against Bournemouth last month and is expected to return to the first team squad against the Lilywhites. The English International will surely not be selected in the first XI but will provide a valuable backup to the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette.

Nacho Monreal is also expected to return from injury and will most definitely feature in the back line for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Petr Cech limped off the pitch during Arsenal’s 5-1 win against the Toffees but if reports are to believed then the shot-stopper too will be available for selection.
