Arsene Wenger will be hoping that his team can carry on the winning form from last week’s 5-1 win against the Toffees as they get ready to take on Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur.

After the departure of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, Wenger has managed to gather a new look attack by signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Lilywhites though will be hoping that they can overcome their neighbours in the London Derby especially after they dropped points in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend.

SPURS VS ARSENAL TEAM NEWS:

Petr Cech will be missing the North London Derby as he had picked up a calf injury last weekend during the match against Everton. He had to go off the field in the second half due to a muscular problem, which led to substitute David Ospina on his position. Cech’s injury created an opportunity for the Colombian to make his first start of the Premier League season.

Nacho Monreal didn’t attend the previous match due to illness, but he is expected to make a come back. Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere could possibly make a return to the playing eleven after being rested last weekend against the Toffees. Even though Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may not be reluctant to change a winning team. Santi Cazorla will remain on medication with an Achilles problem while Danny Welbeck is closing in on a first-team return.
