Arsenal signed Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon last summer but it seems that this could very well be his final few months at the club – according to former Arsenal star.

Lacazette has scored 9 goals for Arsenal in the 27 games that he has featured in but out of those only one goal has come in his last 12 games. The French International was promptly dropped to the bench as soon as the Gunners signed Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang from Borrusia Dortmund last week and according to Emmanuel Petit, the alarm bells have already started ringing for Lacazette.

Petit claims that Wenger has already lost faith in Alexandre Lacazette and now with Aubameyang at his disposal, the manager will not hesitate to offload the striker if he keeps on underperforming.

Lacazette told the Sun: “Lacazette is under massive pressure, “He needs to improve or face the exit this summer.

“Aubameyang’s signing tells me it might already be too late. Arsene Wenger’s belief in Lacazette has gone.”

“After six months his statistics are not exactly tremendous,

“Auba is exactly the man Arsenal need.”

Lacazette was a substitute during Arsenal’s 5-1 thrashing of Everton this past weekend and it seems this is going to be a familiar sight during the next few weeks.
