Chelsea star Alvaro Morata has said in a recent interview that he will go back to Real Madrid if they come calling for him in the summer.

The Spanish International moved from Real Madrid to Chelsea during the summer and started off his career in the Premier League in fine form. But his performance graph has dipped with each passing week and he has not featured in a game since the 13th of January this year – owing to a back trouble.

While giving an interview in Spain earlier this week, the striker has claimed that even though he respects Chelsea he will head back to Real Madrid if they come calling in the summer.

‘I have to respect Chelsea who have made a great effort for me. And I’m very happy here. But Madrid is always Madrid,’ Morata said when he was asked if he would think twice if Real Madrid want him back for the next season.

The Chelsea fans who have recently started questioning the Spaniard’s ability infront of goal and this piece of interview will not do him any good.

To rub salt to the wounds, Antonio Conte has confirmed in a press conference that Alvaro Morata’s return from injury cannot be predicted as of now – possibly hinting to the fact that the striker is set to miss the Champions League clash against Barcelona later this month.
