Chelsea legend John Terry is planning to make a return to his old club after his current contract with Aston Villa expires in July.
Terry joined Championship side Aston Villa on a 12-month contract after leaving Chelsea – a club with which he had been associated with for more than 2 decades. And now according to Mirror Sport, the former English defender is harbouring feelings of re-joining Chelsea as a coach.
Terry’s ultimate dream is obviously to manager Chelsea someday and as per the report, the 37-year-old wants to start from the very basic – just like he started his professional career at Stamford Bridge.
The centre-back is still based in Cobham the very same place where Chelsea’s training facility is located and the ex-England skipper wants to take up a coaching job with the Blues.
Terry feels being a coach at Chelsea will be a more viable option rather than managing some other club.
While the Villa fans would want the defender to extend his contract and lead them in the Premier League next season – hopefully, but it seems that Terry has already made up his mind of moving out of Villa Park.
