Chelsea know it for a fact that it will be very difficult to hold onto Eden Hazard during the summer transfer window as many top European clubs are planning to make a move for the Belgian superstar.

Leading the line amongst these clubs is undoubtedly Real Madrid who are said to be the frontrunners in the chase. Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane have made Hazard their top transfer target during the summer and will not shy away from making a transfer splash in order to bring the playmaker to the Bernabeu. But if recent reports are to believed then another big fish has just joined the race to sign Eden Hazard.

The Daily Star are claiming that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has shown an increasing interest in Hazard and might make a move for him during the summer transfer window.

The report claims that Manchester City are willing to pay as much as £150 million for the 27-year-old player maker.

Chelsea though are not too keen to sell their biggest asset to a direct Premier League rival but the management might change their mind if they can get Sergio Aguero in return for Hazard.

Aguero has two years left on his current contract with the Citizens and has hinted that he wants to return back to his homeland Argentina to play out the final few seasons of his professional career.

Aguero has been in top form this campaign and Guardiola would love to bind him to a new deal but the prospect of getting Hazard in exchange of Aguero could be too good an offer to resist for the Spanish coach.

City already have Gabriel Jesus amongst their ranks who looks to be a pretty fine replacement for Aguero and the blue half of Manchester should not have too many issues of letting the Aguero move to Chelsea.
