Arsenal are set to take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday at Wembley.

The Gunners had to work extra hard in order to earn entry to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. Arsenal eventually overcame Ostersund FK with an aggregate scoreline of 4-2 but they also had to suffer a rather embarrassing 1-2 defeat in the second leg of the tie at the Emirates. Wenger will be hoping that his team can be more resolute when they face Manchester City on Sunday. We take a look at Arsenal’s predicted line up vs Man City.

ARSENAL TEAM NEWS:

Wenger has made it clear that David Ospina is the first choice goalkeeper for him in the cup ties so Petr Cech will once again be rested against Manchester City on Sunday.

The back line for Arsenal will also see a major reshuffle as Hector Bellerin is expected to be the only player who will retain his position from the Ostersund match. Nacho Monreal is set to replace Sead Kolasinac at left-back while Koscielny and Mustafi are expected to return to central defence.

Mesut Ozil will return to the starting line up after he was allegedly bedridden during the Europa League clash. January signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan is cup-tied and will not be available for the clash against City meaning Iwobi will retain his place in the playing XI.

Granit Xhaka who came on as a substitute during the Ostersund game will hopefully start alongside Jack Wilshere in central midfield. Aaron Ramsey is expected to return to the starting line up which is a major boost for Arsene Wenger.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang will replace Danny Welbeck as the main striker on Sunday while Alexandre Lacazette still remained sidelined with an injury.

ARSENAL’S PREDICTED LINE UP VS MAN CITY:

Goalkeeper: Ospina.

Defence: Monreal, Koscielny, Mustafi, Bellerin.

Midfield: Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil.

Attack: Iwobi, Aubameyang, Ramsey.
