Revealed: What Jose Mourinho had written on the note that he handed to Nemanja Matic

Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday to retain their second spot on the Premier League table and the match was another example of the tactical genius of Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese had set up his team with the utmost precision in order to negate the attacking threat posed by Chelsea. He had deployed youngster Scott McTominay to do a ‘Herrera-ish’ job by man marking Eden Hazard but undoubtedly one of the stars of the match was Nemanja Matic who played that anchor role in midfield with a touch of class.

And during the latter stages of the match, Jose Mourinho handed the former Chelsea man a note with seemed to contain some tactical information.

Matic received the note via substitute Eric Bailly which was caught on camera.

And ever since that moment, the note has been the centre of numerous debates.

But Nemanja Matic has finally revealed what instructions had Jose Mourinho actually handed over to him.

The Serbian posted an image on social media where he joking revealed that the manager had merely passed on a personal message to him.

In the picture Matic was seen holding a small chit which read “You have three days off”

Nemanja Matic has certainly caught wind of the whole fiasco that was going on about the message from the manager and the midfielder has indeed come up with an epic reply.
