The Arsenal vs Man City game can be called off due to severe weather conditions prevailing in London.

The Gunners are scheduled to host league leaders Manchester City on Thursday night but the high profile encounter seems to be under threat as heavy snowfall has persisted in the capital. The Emirates pitch and the surrounding areas are covered in a thick blanket of snow and conditions are not likely to improve before the weekend.

As per the Met Department, further snowstorms are expected on Thursday morning which means that Thursday’s Arsenal vs Man City game can be called off.

If the conditions do not improve before then Arsenal will fail to give the go-ahead meaning the game will have to be called off as the prevailing Premier League rules.

Current temperates in London are hovering in the range of -2 and -3 degrees but it is expected to drop to -5 degrees on Thursday.

Another big risk that the Arsenal vs Man City can be called off is the fact that Pep Guardiola has refused to travel to London a day before the match.

Manchester City will leave for the game on Thursday morning and there is continuous fear that the league leaders might not be able to reach the venue on time.
