Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had some harsh words for his manager Antonio Conte after Chelsea’s defeat at the hands of Manchester United on Sunday.

The Blues threw away a 1-0 lead to lose the Old Trafford encounter 2-1. And it seems that the Chelsea No. 1 is not too pleased with the way his team played and also at the way they managed to concede the second goal. Judging from the interview it feels that Courtois is putting the blame on his manager.

Talking to Belgian TV channel Play Sports, Courtois said: “After our goal, we conceded a counter-attacking goal just like last Tuesday but in the second half we had less of the ball, but even then we should never have lost this match,

“If you do not do the small things well in top matches, you lose, which is what happened today.

“I have no explanation for the substitution.

“I did not expect it, but it’s the manager’s choice. He’ll explain it.

“I can’t look into his head. Of course, you want players like Eden 90 minutes on the pitch.

“He can always bring something extra.”

Courtois has clearly made his opinions heard which could very well mean that the Belgian International does not wish to stay in London beyond the summer.

The former Athletico Madrid keeper has time and again hinted that he wishes to head back to Madrid to stay with his children and with Real Madrid interested in signing him up it looks like a match in heaven.

Chelsea have been trying to tie down their shot-stopper with a new deal at the club but Courtois is yet to give any concrete answer.

Now though it seems that the Belgian International has made up his mind as to where he wishes to play next season.
