Reports suggest that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is not very happy with his board because of their inability to provide new contracts to Marcos Rojo and Anthony Martial.

Both these players are essential to the first team setup and in many ways are favourites of the Portuguese manager. And Mourinho is not pleased with the fact that Ed Woodward is yet to start contract negotiations with the players.

Rojo and Martial are both out of contract at the end of the 2018/19 season and Mourinho wants to bind them to new deals as soon as possible.

The manager feels that the signing of Alexis Sanchez has caused a bit of a discomfort in the dressing room and the fact that Rojo and Martial haven’t been offered new deals might make them feel unwanted at the club.

Sanchez is currently receiving £350,000-per-week in the form of wages while both Martial and Rojo get somewhere around £70,000.

After the Chilean’s arrival at the club both the players have requested for a pay rise and Mourinho feels that a delay in negotiations can cause the relationships inside the dressing room to turn sour.

In case of Martial, United have the option of triggering a one-year extension clause but the manager feels that in doing so Martial might begin to doubt his future at Old Trafford prompting him to move to greener pastures.
