Manchester United travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Monday night and Jose Mourinho will be hoping that his team can continue their winning streak.
The Red Devils came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday and it was a very disciplined performance from Mourinho’s men. But on Monday night the fans can expect their players to play with a bit more freedom. We take a look at Manchester United’s predicted line-up vs Crystal Palace.
MAN UNITED TEAM NEWS:
Eric Bailly has fully recovered from his injury and the Palace game will be a perfect opportunity to give the Ivorian some much-needed game time ahead of the crunch matches coming up later this month.
Eric Bailly’s inclusion would mean that either Chris Smalling or Victor Lindelof would have to move to the bench and based on the performances over the past couple of weeks we feel that Smalling might be the one to make way for Bailly. Both Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo remain sidelined with knocks.
Against Chelsea, Jose Mourinho played with three midfielders – McTominay, Pogba and Matic and against Palace, we presume he would like to stick with that same formation.
Upfront Juan Mata will probably make way for Anthony Martial as Jose Mourinho will clearly be thinking of the games that are coming up this month.
Both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku might retain their places in the starting line up but given that the number of games that Sanchez has played since his transfer, Mourinho might try and take him off at the hour mark and give a run-in to Jesse Lingard after the Englishman scored his winning goal against Chelsea.

Attack:Â Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Juan Mata.
Manchester United are currently 16 points behind league leaders Manchester City and the gap could go up to 19 points if City win against Chelsea on Sunday. In such a scenario, it will be absolutely necessary for United to pick up all three points against Palace on Monday.
