PSG are reportedly going to sack their manager Unai Emery within the coming few days and the French outfit have shortlisted a list of candidates.

Emery’s biggest goal this season was to guide PSG to the Champions League trophy but the Spanish manager has now failed to achieve that target for the second year in a row. The Paris club are currently 14 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table but reports suggest that their domestic performance will clearly not affect PSG’s decision to sack Unai Emery.

PSG are probably going to show Emery the door within the coming few weeks and it seems that they have grown rather fond of Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Lilywhites also had a disappointing Champions League campaign as they were knocked out in the Round of 16 by Juventus last night.

Reports from France have suggested PSG are planning to hold talks with Mauricio Pochettino in the coming few days over the possibility of him taking charge of the French club next season.

PSG have also made contact with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger(reportedly) earlier this week as the Frenchman’s time at the Emirates is rapidly coming to a close.

Wenger has maintained that he does not wish to leave Arsenal anytime soon and this statement of his might just have prompted PSG to weigh their other options.
