Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur all to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid but it seems that the winger has his eyes set on a move to Chelsea.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer of Gareth Bale and has harboured the interest to sign the winger for a couple of transfer windows now. This summer United were planning to launch a bid during the summer transfer window after multiple reports have claimed that Zinedine Zidane is ready to offload the 28-year-old.

Bayern Munich are set to lose both Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery as their contracts expire during the summer and the Bavarians are eager to add a couple of wingers into their line up but now it seems that the door to Gareth Bale is shut.

According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Gareth Bale wants to move back to the Premier League during the summer and his preferred destination is Chelsea.

Gareth Bale has reportedly told his teammate about his desire to head back to the Premier League and play for Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur were also said to be in the run-in to sign Bale after he had left the Lilywhites to join Real back in 2013. Spurs though were always at the back of the line given the fact that they were not ready to shell out huge bucks on a player who has failed to remain fully fit for the past 18 months.

Don Balon is usually a reliable source when it comes to news about Real Madrid and as of now, it looks like Chelsea lead the race to sign Gareth Bale. But Manchester United are sure to give a tough fight to their Premier League rivals.
