Former Motherwell striker Louis Moult is on the wish list of Rangers FC bossGraeme Murty and he will try his level best to sign him.
The 25-year-old forward moved to Preston North End FC in January.
It was disclosed on 14 December 2017 that Motherwell had agreed to sell Moult to EFL Championship side Preston North End, with effect from 1 January 2018.
He made his debut for the club on 20 January 2018, as a substitute in a 1–1 draw at home to Birmingham City.
Despite appearing 6 times for Preston, Moult is still struggling to find the back of the net. As the striker is having a bad start for his new club and Murty is hoping that Preston will release the player this summer.
Last summer Moult had a chance to move to Ibrox, but the Gers’s then manager Pedro Caixinha chose Eduardo Herrera over him.
But soon he realised his fault as Moult scored two goals against Rangers in the Betfred Cup semi-final at Hampden.
His outstanding performance made Preston manager Alex Neil take a look at him and as a result, he invested a whopping £450,000 to get him.
As Louis Moult is facing problems to find himself in the first team, there is a high chance of him getting dismissed from Preston’s squad.
And if this happens, Moult will hopefully make a come-back to Scotland with Rangers FC.
