Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure seems to have made up his mind as to which club he wants to join after leaving the Hornets.

Abdoulaye Doucoure has been the subject of interest from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool but the 25-year-old claims that he would love to play for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Doucoure has so far made 32 appearances this season for the Hornets and already there have been rumours that the midfielder will move out of the club during the summer.

And while talking to French TV Canal+, Doucoure said: “Liverpool is a club that needs no introduction,

“I was impatient to play there at Anfield, I wanted to feel the atmosphere. For me, it would be a dream to play in a club like this.

“If there is an offer, we will discuss to find the best solution. Everyone wants to play in the Champions League, the big competitions.”

Doucoure has been valued at 20 million pounds and his inclination towards joining the Merseyside outfit solves a lot of problems for Jurgen Klopp.

The Liverpool manager is set to lose Emre Can during the summer with the German International slated to join Juventus. And in such a scenario Doucoure will be a perfect replacement for him.

Having said that thought Doucoure’s love for Liverpool might be a bit of a headache for Arsene Wenger. The Gunners are currently trying to negotiate a new deal with Jack Wilshere where the club want the English International to take a pay cut. But if he does not agree then Wilshere would be shown the door. And Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure would have been a perfect replacement.
