Chelsea are set to take on Barcelona this midweek in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 match and this game is surely going to be a not so good outing for Eden Hazard.

Recently Conte has started playing Eden Hazard in false a nine position during big games. The Italian did it against Barcelona and also against Manchester City.

Against the La Liga outfit, Chelsea got some success but it was mainly due to the individual brilliance of Willian but against Manchester City, the Blues failed miserably.

Conte’s plans fell flat on his face and the Chelsea players hardly got to touch the ball during the game.

After the match, Antonio Conte’s tactics received a fair bit of exposition and even Eden Hazard came out to blast his manager’s long ball tactics.

But it looks like the Italian is not shying away at all and will not hesitate to use the formation once again.

When asked if he will play Eden Hazard in that position again, Conte said: “Yes, but if I think it’s right for the team to play in this way, it’s okay,

“Otherwise I can take another decision and play with a striker. Maybe. I can take different decisions.

“There are three players for two places. One has to go on the bench. Then I have to decide who has to go on the bench.”

So despite some heavy bashing from fans and pundits, Antonio Conte clearly feels that his formation is perfect to stop big teams.

Get ready, Eden, you are playing false nine against Barcelona.
