Manchester United are eyeing a move for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro during the summer transfer window and Jose Mourinho has reportedly made the Brazilian his top transfer target.

According to a report from the Sunday Mirror, Manchester United want to bring the £70 million full-back to Old Trafford and they are planning to use Matteo Darmian as a makeweight for the deal.

Sandro was tipped to move out of Italy during the summer transfer window but the transfer talks with Chelsea collapsed after the Turin outfit refused to sell off the Brazilian for anything less than £60 million.

And now Jose Mourinho is planning to make a move for Sandro during the summer.

Mourinho plans to keep Luke Shaw at Old Trafford for the upcoming season but also wants to bring in an experienced full-back.

The report claims that Sandro would cost in the region of £70 million but Manchester United are not too worried about the price tag of the player. Sandro currently receives £145,000-a-week in the form of wages but it is also being claimed that the Old Trafford outfit are willing to double his current wage structure.

But the biggest roadblock to the deal might be Chelsea who still hold a substantial interest in the player.

Chelsea are sure to go after Alex Sandro one more time during the summer and given that they had two bad transfer windows, the Blues will not hesitate to spend big this time.
