A video of Jamie Carragher spitting at a Manchester United fan’s car has gone viral and the Liverpool legend has just received its first backlash.
The English defender was caught on camera spitting on a fan’s car as the fan was taunting Carragher.
The Sky Sports pundit has since apologized to everyone for his behaviour but it seems that his reaction has not gone down too well with Danish channel TV3 Sport.
Jamie Carragher was due to act as a pundit for Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Sevilla on the above-mentioned channel but according to the latest reports, the former defender has lost the job.
TV3 Sport executive director Peter Nørrelund has said: “It does not look good.
“He should have been at Old Trafford tomorrow for United-Sevilla, and we have chosen to sit over.
“We have sent an employee to Liverpool so we can get the story from the horse’s mouth.”
Carragher also works for Sky Sports and his job there is also under threat.
But some sources claim that Sky might not sack the former Liverpool defender but as punishment might keep him off their shows for a certain time frame.
Jamie Carragher spitting on the fan’s car has certainly not gone down too well with the broadcasters.
