Harry Kane suffered an injury during Tottenham Hotspurs‘ game against AFC Bournemouth and it does not look pretty for the English International.

Kane picked up the knock during a collision with Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and he has injured the same leg in which he suffered two separate ankle injuries last season.

The Spurs striker tried to get back into the match but the pain was too much for him to bear and was eventually substituted.

After getting off the pitch Harry Kane went straight down the tunnel and was seen leaving the ground on crutches.

While speaking about his striker, Mauricio Pochettino said: “I am concerned,

“Of course, I worry about him. We hope it is not a massive issue for him and the team and hope he can recover as soon as possible.

“We need to wait because we will scan his ankle. He suffered an injury to the same ankle he suffered before.

“He is positive.

“Harry has a great character and is always positive. If you are positive you start the recovery from the injury from now.”

“The decision was between him and the doctor, but he felt like when he landed and twisted his ankle that it was impossible to stay on the pitch,” Pochettino added.

Now if reports are to be believed then Harry Kane is likely to miss England’s games against Holland and Italy, later on, this month.

But the biggest fear for Pochettino right now would be the fact that Kane might be unavailable to play for Spurs when they take on London rivals Chelsea on the first of April at Stamford Bridge.
