Liverpool and Arsenal are preparing themselves for a very busy summer transfer window and it seems that both of them have eyes on a common target.

According to a report in the Mirror, Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger are both planning to launch bids for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez during the summer.

Vazquez has come through the ranks at Real Madrid and unlike Gareth Bale who also plays as a winger, Vazquez has received a fair amount of game time this season.

The Spaniard has played in 40 matches in all competitions for the Los Blancos – scoring 7 goals in the process.

But if the Mirror is to be believed then both Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger are looking at the 26-year-old as a backup to their first choice forwards.

Klopp already has Mo Salah and Sadio Mane at his disposal and the German wants to sign Lucas Vazquez in order to add depth to his squad.

Wenger too has similar plans and he wants the Spanish International at the Emirates in order to provide back up to the Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

But we feel that it will not be easy to lure the winger out of Real Madrid if both Liverpool and Arsenal cannot offer him regular first-team football.

Lucas has been a constant under Zinedine Zidane this season and he has shown no desire to move out of the Bernabeu.

Zidane too is quite fond of him and it will be very tough to convince the Real Madrid to sell one of his key players.
