Celtic FC boss Brendan Rodgers will have a talk with goalkeeper Scott Bain about his future at the club.

His excellent performance in the match against their arch-rivals Rangers FC helped them win the match by 3-2.

Scott’s heroics in the second-half with two excellent saves against Alfredo Morelos made all fans crazy.

He joined The Hoops on-loan from Dundee until the end of the season, and Rodgers is targeting to make Bain sign a new contract with the club as soon as possible because just a few days are left in hand.

As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Brendan Rodgers said: “I think it’s short and long-term. It’s pretty clear that he has the temperament and qualities to play as a goalkeeper for Celtic.

“We will sit down with him and see how much he is going to enjoy it and look at his game-time between now and the end of the season.”

With Celtic’s two important goalkeepers Dorus de Vries and Craig Gordon both on the reserves bench due to their respective injury, Bain is set to keep to feature in a couple of more matches for the Hoops.
