Arsenal are set to have a busy transfer window this time around as they look to get back into the top four of the Premier League and they reportedly have set their eyes on a Manchester United target.

According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, Arsenal are set to lock horns against Jose Mourinho’s side in a bid to sign Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic.

The paper claims that Arsenal scouts watched the 21-year-old in action during Benfica’s 2-0 win over Feirense over the weekend.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has also shown interest in the youngster as reports had claimed that the Red Devils have observed the player earlier this season.

Wenger too wanted to sign Zivkovic before the winger joined Benfica from Partizan Belgrade and it seems that the Frenchman has once again reignited his interest in the player.

Andrija Zivkovic who?

Zivkovic moved to Benfica from Partizan on a free transfer back in 2016 and since then the winger has made a total of 46 appearances for them over the course of two seasons.

This season Zivkovic has made 23 appearances for Benfica – scoring 4 goals and out of these 23 appearances 14 have come in the league.

Zivkovic has also played 7 games for the Serbian national team and his current market valuation stands at £6.30 million according to Transfermrkt.

The winger’s current contract with Benfica ends in the summer of 2021 and with Manchester United and Arsenal on the hunt for the youngster expect his transfer value to skyrocket during the summer transfer window.
