After the recent public humiliation of Luke Shaw by his manager, it is pretty clear that the left-back will move out of Old Trafford during the summer. And now Jose Mourinho’s primary target is to bring in a new left-back.

According to a report in the Don Balon, Jose Mourinho has urged his board to go after a player from his former team Chelsea.

As per the report, Mourinho wants to sign Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso during the summer transfer window.

If Luke Shaw leaves Manchester United then the manager will be left with only Ashley Young who in no ways is a proper left-back.

Mourinho thus wants Alonso in his squad.

Alonso is easily one of the best left-backs in England right now and the former Fiorentina man is not only a good defender but his attacking capabilities are also impressive.

Alonso will cost somewhere in the region of 70 million pounds and Don Balon are claiming that Mourinho has no inhibitions in spending that much of money on the left-back.

The United manager has sent out the message to his board that they should start preparing a bid for Marcos Alonso for the summer transfer window.
