Chelsea are planning to bring Marco Asensio to the club during the summer transfer window but the 22-year-old have tabled a few conditions which must be followed if he decides to move to London.

According to a report in the Diario Gol, Asensio has made it clear to Chelsea that he should be guaranteed a place in the starting XI is he makes the move.

He has also asked the Blues not to sign a direct rival for his position as long as he stays with them.

These conditions might seem a bit harsh but we can clearly see where Asensio is coming from.

The 22-year-old started the current season as one of Zinedine Zidane’s main men but as the campaign has progressed Asensio has fallen down the pecking order.

During the past few months, Asensio has been constantly fighting with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema for a place in the starting line up. And he clearly does not want a repeat of such situations if he moves to Stanford Bridge.

Asensio has also told Chelsea that if his demands are not met then he has the option of joining Juventus who are also interested in buying him during the summer transfer window.
