Liverpool forward Mo Salah scored four goals past Watford last weekend taking his goals tally up to 36 for the current season. And the kind of form that he is in, the Egyptian has attracted a lot of attention from top European clubs.

Reports have claimed that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are planning to launch high profile bids for the forward and the La Liga giants will give it their all to bring him on board.

Salah is currently valued in the region of 160 million pounds according to a lot of pundits in England but both Barcelona and Real Madrid know very well that they will have to spend way more than that if they wish to acquire the services of the Egyptian.

But according to Bleacher Report correspondent Dean Jones, Liverpool have no intention of parting ways with Mo Salah.

According to Jones, the Liverpool hierarchy know very well how important Salah is to their team and in a bid to keep him at the club, they are willing to offer his a new deal.

Jones wrote on Twitter: “Mo Salah will be rewarded with an improved deal at Liverpool—no way he leaves just yet. Can he ever repeat this season’s form though?”

It is pretty clear that after losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona during the winter transfer window, the last thing that Jurgen Klopp would want is to lose his biggest asset.

So the new deal is just to calm all the nerves and ensure the fans that Mo Salah will not be leaving – not atleast this summer.
