Luke Shaw was publicly criticized by Jose Mourinho after his performance against Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup and many people now believe that the United manager will most certainly sell him off during the summer transfer window.

Mourinho said after the match: ‘I was not happy with his performance,

‘I had to change one fullback and I chose Luke because at least Antonio (Valencia) defensively was capable of some good positionings.’

After this press conference, a source close to the club had revealed that Shaw and a lot of other Manchester United players were clearly unhappy with how Jose Mourinho handled the situation and the left-back is already planning on a move out of the club.

Now though, Manchester Evening News are reporting that Luke Shaw is trying his best to win back the trust of Jose Mourinho.

This week a lot of the United squad have left for international duties and the players who have not been called up by their respective countries have been given time off by the manager.

But Luke Shaw though has chosen to stay back in Manchester and is working extra hours on the training ground.

Shaw was spotted in Carrington practising which suggests that the left-back is yet to give up hope.

To be honest we do not expect a very drastic change in the relationship between Mourinho and Shaw was the past few months but with Shaw working hard, the United manager just might have a change of heart.
